5 Costly Mistakes to avoid - For all Intermediate Modules
These Simple Tips might help you score better... Best of Luck
TIP 1: DONOT Read between the Lines. Read the scenarios as it is mentioned and DONOT assume. If any pain point is NOT highlighted in the scenario, then that pain point is NOT applicable for that scenario. DONOT ASSUME a pain point. At times the Options in the Question will mention pain points that are not evident in the Scenario. Most Likely, that Option will NOT be the BEST Option.
TIP 2: There will be a thin line of difference between the BEST and the SECOND BEST Option. The BEST Option would cater to ALL the pain points mentioned in the scenario. The SECOND BEST Option would cater to MOST but NOT ALL the pain points mentioned in the Scenario.
TIP 3: At times, the SECOND BEST Option would be a generic approach and NOT a specific approach mapped to the Scenario.
TIP 4: Try to ISOLATE the Distractor. By doing so you would Save a NOTIONAL LOSS of 5 marks. DONOT Jump to a conclusion by trying to identify the BEST OPTION in one go. Do it in a structured manner, by first ISOLATING the Distractor and then applying the Rule of Elimination. You will be left with the BEST OPTION :)
TIP 5: FINALLY, once you have zeroed on the BEST OPTION, please do map it back to the pain points mentioned in the Scenario. If any pain point in the Scenario is not addressed by this Option, then you have NOT selected the BEST OPTION. Repeat the steps mentioned in TIP 4.
